We have been serving the public since 1982 under the same family. We are close to all major attractions in Western North Carolina. Make us your home base and tour the mountains. McDowell County offers a host of attractions such as; Little Switzerland, Linville Caverns, Lake James Park, Mountain Gateway Museum, Davidson's Fort and Mountain Mitchell State Park the highest peak east of the Mississippi. We are only a short distance to Grandfather Mountain, Biltmore House, Chimney Rock and Cherokee Indian Reservations, white water rafting and local ski resorts.

News and Special Information
The Wildlife Commission will open approximately 1,100 miles of Hatchery Supported Trout Waters in 25 western counties at 7 a.m. on April 4. The season will run through Feb. 29, 2016. While fishing on Hatchery Supported Trout Waters, anglers can harvest a maximum of seven trout per day, with no minimum size limits or bait restrictions. Our own Catawba River is part of this system, starting at Catawba Falls Campground.
